group’s focus was to create a 360° degree view of who their external customers were, how they use the cloud, revenue, support needs, and other data to allow for an overall better customer experience. The custom portal would display customer data in a customizable dashboard setting.
My purpose was to optimize the user experience, improve the overall design, integrate new features, and allow room for scalability. I worked closely with developers to establish requirements and provide usable but easily implemented solutions that conform to user-centered design principles. The research process involved studying growth analytics and working with their developers to build a data platform to service the BI and field engineering teams. My responsibilities included designing the data and dashboard UI, creating wireframes, user flows, and analyzing user engagement through focus groups and feedback.

My most recent position was working with Microsoft’s new Care Experiences & Offers team to redefine Microsoft’s online customer service support. They were looking to improve the look and feel by challenging some of the general rules and providing better solutions to improve the customer journey.
My role was to assist their team with interactive UI mockups and UX solutions for some upcoming tools they were designing for both employee and customer use. I’d recommended the best approach based on business needs obtained by performing usability analysis and recommendations, including heuristic evaluations and usability studies. I created design assets, clickable mockups, user flows, and wireframes. I collaborated with others in creating standards documents for localization, accessibility, and cross-application consistency.
